Hey Lars,
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. It's good to have open discussions about what's important for the clan. Understanding Team Value I completely understand your focus on having a strong, reliable team. It's crucial for success. A good clan allows us to build that core group, which translates to better performance. Beyond Just Performance, However, the clan can offer more than just winning. It's a community where we learn from each other's strategies and skills.
Celebrate victories together, creating a more rewarding experience.
Offer support and encouragement after losses, fostering a positive environment.
These aspects contribute to a stronger overall team spirit, which can benefit us all in the long run. Respecting Individual Decisions While you might see leaving the clan as a betrayal, sometimes people's needs and gaming styles evolve. Open communication helps us understand the reasons for leaving, and it allows everyone to move forward with respect. Friendships Within the Clan You mentioned your team being more essential than friendships. While having a strong team is crucial, friendships can strengthen the team spirit. Shared experiences and connections within the game can boost morale and make playing together even more enjoyable. Value of a Thriving Clan A strong, active clan attracts new players who share our passion for the game. This constant growth keeps the experience fresh and allows us to learn from new perspectives. It also creates a sense of belonging and support that goes beyond individual games. Compromise and Improvement While your focus on loyalty is admirable, perhaps there's a middle ground. We can strive to build a strong core team within the clan while fostering a welcoming environment for new members and those who might return in the future.
What do you think?
Maybe we can brainstorm some ideas on how to achieve this balance. Your passion for the team is valuable, and together, we can make the clan an even better place for everyone.
Discussion
Of course if the mentality of „just play the game“ is the main thing, then friendlist and being in a Clan is exactly the same, but it should not be the same it should be more.
